Northern County Chess Union (NCCU) update:

The (NCCU) first round matches 2024/25 have ended and I am pleased to announce that all five Greater Manchester teams have made it through to the National stages.

The captains of each section did a brilliant job with their choice of players and fielding winning teams. This has taken them through to the Nationals which are due to start in May.
