Wow! I am absolutely delighted to share this wonderful news. — Eccles has been named Best Chess Club of the Year not just in Manchester, but the entire North West!

The Prestige Awards team got in touch with me after reviewing our recent feedback, community work, and the successes our club has achieved. https://eccleschess.com/chess-in-the-community/ They informed me that Eccles had been short listed… and just a week later, I received the follow-up call confirming that Eccles had won! An incredible moment for all of us!

This award belongs to everyone who makes Eccles Community Chess Club what it is. A huge well done to all our players who’ve taken part in team matches, and heartfelt thanks to everyone who continues to support, help and promote “Chess in the Community”.
